Caitlin is a third generation UU from Knoxville, TN, and a Starr King School for the Ministry student. She was the Director of Religious Exploration for the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists for three years, a Young Adult Resident at the Mountain Retreat and Learning Center in North Carolina, and a UU leader and representative at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She is an outdoor educator, theater geek, environmental advocate, and serves on the UUA’s Commission on Social Witness. Caitlin is excited and honored to learn and serve in Davis!

2013-09-15 Ducking & Weaving: Spiritual but Not Religious

“Spiritual but not religious.” Is this a phrase that you use to describe your religious life? As a third generation UU I’m conflicted when I hear my companions in our denomination use the phrase.
