Our Sunday with Josh Searle White celebrated our larger message in the world; this Sunday celebrates our home congregation. Please bring your pledge card for our ritual of giving. Already sent in your card? There will be a way for you to participate.

2014-02-09 With This Love, Anything Can be Made

Life Journey: Bob Young & past interns. Some live by “love thy neighbor as thyself;” others by “first, do no harm” or “take no more than you need.” What if the mightiest word is ‘love’ – beyond marital, filial, national; love that casts a widening pool of light; love with no need to preempt grievance?”

2014-02-02 What’s Needed?

Rev. Beth Banks, Worship Leader; Guest: Josh Searle White; Generosity Journey: Laura Sandage.

“First” Sunday style worship: Children & Youth in leadership roles for first 30 min. Josh Searle, a master at storytelling, will tell them a story then the children will move to the Bridgehouse for team-building activities.
The Generosity Campaign is a natural time to look at future possibilities for our amazing congregation. What would it be like if our guiding principle were not our vision or our plan but this question: “What’s needed?”

Josh Searle White, Executive Director UU Pacific Central District, gives us a visionary’s view of our denomination. He runs popular workshops at General Assembly and is the author of Magic
Wanda’s Travel Emporium: Tales of Love, Hate, and Things in Between.
